WIRED – Gunns Out by itsthejunglebaby
Why did you first start producing?: I first started producing dubstep just after my metal band broke up due to members going off to uni. So instead of starting another band I decided to start producing my own music.
Where and when was the first time you heard dubstep?
Its hard to remember, I just remember it was at digital in Newcastle, they had a room 2 which played this weird half time shit and since then i was pretty much hooked.

Who would you say your influences when producing are?: For dubstep id say Nero, Flux Pavilion and Rob Sparx.
Do you produce any other genres of music?: Yeah, i produce Liquid DnB and Electro House as well, the DnB is my main genre but I prefer dubstep for remixing.
Lights – Ellie Goulding (DUBSTEP REMIX) by itsthejunglebaby
What do you do when you’re not producing?: Just go out and get fucked really, instead of making music i just go and listen to it. If not then im probly at uni.
How would you describe your style?: I’d say it was more melodic dubstep, no matter how hard i try i can never seem to get the dirt other artists get, i always end up adding a string line or a piano in somewhere.
What soft/hardware do you use?: Logic and Reason, if iv got more time to make a tune il use the Maschine as well, but half the time it just complicates producing, great for live though.
What are your top 5 tunes at the moment?:
5. Prodigy – Smack My Bitch Up – (Corpz Remix)
4. Freestylers Feat. Pendulum – Painkiller (KouncilHouse Remix)
3. William Cartwright – Bright Eyes (Rockers Remix)
2. Lenzman – Open Page
1. DJ Fresh – Hypercaine (Nero Remix)
Where do you believe dubstep will be time next year?: It’s hard to predict with dubstep since it’s moving so fast. Once artists cant get any dirtier i would want to see some GOOD live dubstep acts, who can do it right and deliver a drop with some good synths.
